The Erie VA Medical Center is marking a major milestone this week. Celebrating 75 years of service to veterans across the region.
For many veterans, access to healthcare and support services through the Department of Veterans Affairs can make a lasting difference after their time in the military. The Erie VA Medical Center has played a critical role in providing that care for decades, offering medical services, resources, and support to those who have served.
On May 14, the community is invited to celebrate the facility’s history and ongoing mission at its campus on East 38th Street. A commemorative event will begin at 1 p.m., honoring the center’s 75 years of service and its continued commitment to veteran care.
Following the ceremony, a Veterans Resource Fair will take place from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. in the second-floor conference room. The fair will connect veterans with a variety of programs, services, and organizations designed to support their health, well-being, and transition to civilian life.
The event is an opportunity not only to reflect on the past, but also to ensure veterans are aware of the resources available to them today.
