READING, Pa. – Oakbrook community members have a new place to enjoy nature and play.
The Reading Housing Authority announced that Oakbrook Recreation Park is now open.
It has an updated baseball field with dugouts, foul line fencing and an electronic scoreboard.
In addition, the park now has new bleachers and will open the concession stand soon.
The park’s basketball court and walking path have also been resurfaced.
Housing Authority officials say they’ll hold a grand opening in the fall with a new playground.
