ROBESON TWP., Pa. – Robeson Township is welcoming its new police chief.
Chief Joseph Brown began his new role this week.
He has an extensive policing background, spending 28 years with the West Reading Police Department before becoming a detective with the Berks County District Attorney’s Office. He most recently served as the regional security investigator for Tower Health.
The Township says Brown is also deeply involved in the community and is the founder and president of the Berks County Police Heroes Fund that helps the families of officers injured or killed in the line of duty.
