Detective Sergeant Brian Barber of the Erie Police Department has received the 2026 Champion of Hope and Healing Award.
Detective Sergeant Barber was honored with this award during the 20th Annual Pittsburgh Conference on Child Maltreatment for his outstanding dedication, compassion, and leadership while serving children and families in Erie County.
His work with local partners has helped strengthen various investigations, advocacy for victims, and has coordinated care for vulnerable children in the Erie community.
