READING, Pa. – Some Reading Police services are moving to the Berks County Courthouse for the next month.
The department says the desk sergeant and dispatch center are temporarily relocating while renovations are being done at City Hall.
Officials say in-person police services will take place at the courthouse.
Officials ask that the public be aware of the following during the relocation:
The public service window phone and all City Hall door intercoms will continue to connect directly with police personnel at the courthouse.
Police personnel will not be operating from City Hall during this time.
Residents are encouraged to call for service whenever possible, as in-person services will be limited during the temporary relocation.
Self-service forms will be available at both the Berks County Courthouse and City Hall.
The change starts Monday and will go through June 12th.
