(WHTM) — Is the popular West Coast eatery, In-N-Out Burger, planning to open in Pennsylvania?

Making its debut back in 1948 near Baldwin Park, California, In-N-Out Burger has steadily grown to become one of the most pop-culturally known fast food restaurants in the country.

According to In-N-Out Burger’s website, the company currently has more than 400 locations spread throughout Arizona, California, Colorado, Idaho, Nevada, Oregon, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, and Washington.

But with so many locations in the United States, one has to wonder: Will Pennsylvania finally get its own In-N-Out Burger?

Earlier this week, abc27 News reached out to In-N-Out to see if they currently have any plans to enter the Pennsylvania market.

In an email, In-N-Out Burger’s Chief Operating Officer Denny Warnick shared, in part, the following message:

“Hello Mac,

Thank you for reaching out and for your interest in In-N-Out Burger’s expansion.

We’re grateful to hear residents in Central Pennsylvania would welcome an In-N-Out there! We don’t currently have plans to open locations in Pennsylvania, we do know it is a wonderful and beautiful state.

Thanks again for contacting us.”

Although Warnick’s response may not have been what we were hoping for, it was a bit more elaborate than some other businesses have been when asked about plans to set up shop in Pennsylvania.

Is Buc-ee’s coming to Pennsylvania? Company responds to online rumors

This past Wednesday, abc27 news reached out to the popular travel center Buc-ee’s to see if they had any plans to open in the Keystone State. The company’s response was “No comment.”

Currently, the closest In-N-Out Burger relative to Central Pennsylvania is a location on 915 South Hartmann Drive in Lebanon, TN.
