DUNMORE, Pa. — People took full advantage of the warm weather on Sunday to get out and garden.

Managers at Jerry’s for all seasons in Lackawanna County said that people were waiting at the doors when they first opened Sunday morning in Dunmore.

“And it seems like a lot of people were waiting for the sunshine that we’ve gotten this week to come and get their plants and get their gardens started. And when the sunshine came out this weekend, it just exploded. We’ve been loaded with customers Friday, Saturday, and today, Sunday, and it’s just awesome to see everybody out, everybody’s happy, everyone’s ready for spring to finally be here,” said Jerry Longo of Jerrys for All Seasons.

Popular greens flying off the shelves included flowers, vegetables, and shrubs.
