The solar project is part of a broader GESA initiative that has already included upgrades to over 3,200 LED lights across municipal buildings, parks, recreation centers, and public spaces in Reading. Additional work under the program has encompassed HVAC upgrades, solar lighting installations, insulation improvements, and upgraded sports lighting technology at several parks and facilities.
