WHITEHALL, Pa. – Whitehall hosting Bangor in a District 11 Class 5A quarterfinal baseball matchup on Tuesday.
A big second inning for Whitehall as Tanner Sweeney gets things started with a two-out double to the gap in left center to score Jack Lloyd. Tyler Sanders follows with a ground ball to short – Jaxon Kreider makes a nice stop but Sanders beats the throw to first and Jules Alatzas scores.
Whitehall leading 4-0 and continue the two-out rally when Sudge Hoderewski smokes one to right for an RBI triple.
The Zephyrs advance with a 7-2 victory and will face Southern Lehigh on Saturday at DeSales.
