A Bethlehem man has died days after he was injured in a scooter crash in Allentown.
Jimmy Martinez, 19, was riding a motor scooter early Sunday when he lost control, hit a curb and collided into multiple objects, Lehigh County Coroner Daniel A. Buglio said in a news release Wednesday. Martinez was riding the scooter about 12:45 a.m. in the 800 block of South Filmore Street, the coroner said.
Martinez died 3:30 p.m. Tuesday at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Cedar Crest. His cause of death was complications of blunt-force injuries, with the manner accidental, Buglio said.
Allentown police are investigating the crash.
