FARRELL — NLMK Pennsylvania is hosting a hiring event today at its manufacturing facility in Farrell to recruit new workers for its steel production operations.
The event takes place at 15 Roemer Blvd., with sessions running from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. and again from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. in the mill’s main conference room. Company representatives are meeting with applicants to discuss open positions and evaluate candidate qualifications.

NLMK Pennsylvania operates as a steel conversion mill, which processes large steel slabs into hot-rolled and cold-rolled coils. The Farrell facility is the largest plant within the NLMK USA network. The steel produced at this site supplies several commercial sectors, including the automotive, appliance, construction, energy, and heating and cooling industries.
The company also operates Sharon Coating, a nearby galvanizing facility in Sharon, which applies protective zinc coatings to steel coils. Together, the facilities distribute steel products throughout regional markets via truck, rail, and barge networks.
