Fire crews poured thick torrents of water on a Kensington warehouse early Friday as flames could be seen shooting through the windows and roof.
NBC10’s SkyForce10 caught footage of while smoke filled the skies over Kensington after, officials said, a two-alarm fire broke out at a warehouse near the intersection of E Street and Kensington Avenue at about 4:30 a.m. on Friday.
As firefighters worked to extinguish the flames, homes and businesses near the warehouse were being evacuated at about 5:30 a.m., officials said.
No injuries were immediately reported in this incident.
Officials have not yet provided more details on this incident nor have they said what may have started the fire.
But, an investigation into the incident is ongoing.
