LEHIGH VALLEY, Pa. – The United States Postal Service (USPS) has announced two job fairs to be held in the region next week.
The Reading USPS facility, located at 2100 N. 13th Street, will hold a job fair May 28th from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m.
The Lehigh Valley Post Office, located at 17 S. Commerce Way in Bethlehem Township, will hold its job fair May 30th from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
“This is great opportunity for job seekers to work right where you live,” said USPS spokesman Paul Smith.
The Postal Service offers federal benefits, career opportunities and retirement opportunities.
Anyone 18 years old at the time of appointment, or 16 years old with a high school diploma, would be eligible to be hired.
Requirements:
United States citizen, permanent resident or citizen of American Samoa or other U.S. territory for at least 5 years
Ability to clear criminal background check
Safe driving record (if applicable to position)
