Southbound U.S. 287 reopened after a crash blocked three lanes on the highway north of Isabelle Road near Erie for about 90 minutes during the Friday morning commute.
The highway reopened as of 8:31 a.m., according to State Patrol trooper Sherri Mendez. An image of the crash appeared to show an SUV having rolled over, according to a Colorado State Patrol post on X. Another SUV and a pickup truck were also involved, according to Mendez.
There were no reports of injuries in the crash first reported at 7:22 a.m., Mendez said.
Commuters had been told to expect delays while the Colorado State Patrol was on the scene, according to a post on X. Traffic appeared to still be able to drive down southbound U.S. 287 in the far right lane while the three lanes were blocked, according to the image.
