SCRANTON, LACKAWANNA COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — A sinkhole opened up on a Scranton road Saturday evening.
Near AAA North Penn on Viewmont Drive, the hole opened on the right side of the road after 7 p.m.
Park decorated in honor of Memorial Day
A mall security officer was directing traffic around the hole.
It is currently unknown the cause of the hole or when it will be fixed.
