Two people were seriously hurt after a boat crashed into channel marker in Barnegat Bay in the area of 63rd Street in Long Beach Township on Monday, the New Jersey State Police told NBC10’s Ted Greenberg.
The two people seriously hurt were ejected after the single-vessel crash at around 5:45 p.m. on Monday, and four others on the boat at a time suffered minor injuries, police said.
The people involved have not been identified and an exact cause of the crash remains under investigation, police said.
