Jewish Day School becomes first Blue Zones approved school in Allentown | Allentown Area

ALLENTOWN, Pa. – An Allentown school is celebrating a special achievement in creating a healthier environment for students and staff.

The Jewish Day School of the Lehigh Valley is being recognized as a Blue Zones Project Approved School, the first school to receive the designation under the Blue Zones Project Allentown initiative.

The school gives students and staff daily access to fresh fruit and salad bars and encourages healthy habits so they live longer, better lives.
