University of Scranton awards over 900 bachelor’s degrees at Luzerne County ceremony

Hundreds of students donned their caps and gowns Sunday in Luzerne County.

The University of Scranton students and staff packed the Mohegan Arena at Casey Plaza near Wilkes-Barre for the undergraduate commencement.

Starting at 11:30 a.m., the university handed out more than 900 bachelor’s degrees to the class of 2026.

Graduate students also received their degrees today, only a few hours later.
