MOOSIC, LACKAWANNA COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) – The Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders lost the series opener to the Worcester Red Sox Tuesday night, 6-3. Despite the loss, Spencer Jones, the Yankees #6 prospect, returned to the Triple A roster and hit his 12th minor league home run of the season.
The Railriders and Red Sox are back on the diamond Wednesday morning, with an 11:05 a.m. first pitch.
