As graduation season continues, five local high school seniors are being recognized for their commitment to service and putting others first.
The Rotary Club of Erie awarded scholarships today to students from Erie High School and Collegiate Academy, honoring not only their academic achievements but also their dedication to helping others in their communities.
Each of the selected seniors earned their scholarship by demonstrating a strong willingness to serve and support those around them—a value that closely aligns with the Rotary Club’s mission.
A representative from the Rotary Club emphasized the importance of recognizing these efforts, noting that rewarding students for their compassion and leadership helps encourage continued service beyond high school.
“Supporting students who show a commitment to others is incredibly important,” the official said. “These are the individuals who will go on to make a meaningful impact in their communities.”
Each student received a $3,000 scholarship, which will go toward helping cover college expenses as they begin the next chapter of their education.
