Philadelphia police are investigating a deadly shooting that they said happened Wednesday morning in the city’s Kensington neighborhood.
According to the Philadelphia Police Department, around 9:52 a.m., on Wednesday, May 27, 2026, officers responded to the 600 block of East Thayer Street and found an unidentified man suffering from gunshot wounds.
Officers transported the man to a nearby, where he was pronounced dead at 10:03 a.m., police said.
No arrests have been made, police said and the investigation is ongoing.
