Pennsylvania is getting double representation on the new season of “Love Island USA.”
Sincere Rhea, a former Penn State track athlete, and Sean Reifel, a Bethlehem police officer, were named among the 12 Islanders cast in Season 8 of Peacock’s hit dating series.
Reifel, who has a young son, was officially sworn into the Bethlehem Police Department on Aug. 18, 2025, according to a department social media post.
In the show’s teaser, Reifel described himself as someone people can lean on emotionally.
“I’m not a model, I’m not an actor. I’m a police officer,” he said in the “Love Island USA” teaser. “You could be having the worst day of your life and I’ll just help you sift through that.”
“The more thoughtful you are I think that sh– is so pretty, I love it.”
Rhea competed at Penn State from 2020 to 2021 before transferring to Miami and later Texas Tech, where he competed during the 2024-25 season as a graduate student. Originally from Philadelphia, he attended St. Augustine Prep.

In Peacock’s teaser for the new season, Rhea leaned into his track background while introducing himself.
“I’m a chaser,” he said. “That’s why I run track.”
He also joked that he signs off emails, “Sincerely Sincere.”
The new season premieres Tuesday, June 2, with Ariana Madix returning as host and comedian Iain Stirling serving as narrator.
New episodes will stream daily at 6 p.m. PT / 9 p.m. ET during premiere week, followed by episodes every day except Wednesdays, according to Peacock.
Fans will once again vote for their favorite couples through the “Love Island USA” app to help decide who stays in the villa and who goes home heartbroken.
