Gannon University has reached a significant milestone in its commitment to excellence in health care education. The Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Management Education (CAHME) Board of Directors has officially approved the initial accreditation of Gannon’s Master of Health Care Administration (MHA) program for a four-year term.
CAHME accreditation represents a highly respected benchmark in the field of health care management education. Working collaboratively with leading academic institutions and experienced health care practitioners, CAHME ensures that graduate programs meet rigorous, measurable standards for effectiveness.
It remains the only organization recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation to accredit individual graduate programs in health care management, underscoring the significance of this achievement for Gannon University.
Gannon’s MHA program, which is STEM-designated, is designed to prepare both current health care professionals and recent graduates for a broad range of leadership roles within the industry.
The program emphasizes practical, real-world experience through project-based learning and strategic collaboration with health care organizations, including hospitals, physician practices and long-term care facilities.
