How are families eligible?

According to Garrity, families must contribute at least $10 to a new or existing PA 529 Guaranteed Savings Plan (GSP) or PA 529 Investment Plan (IP) by May 31 to be eligible for the promotion. Account owners must be Pennsylvania residents.

Families and friends can contribute to a child’s account here.

“Every child’s future is full of possibilities, and I’m thrilled Treasury is able to offer over $33,000 in awards to help encourage families to start saving early,” Treasurer Garrity said. “Even small contributions made today can grow over time and help families prepare to fund their child’s education – no matter what path they choose after high school.”
