SOUDERTON, Pa. — Keystone Opportunity Center launched their first ever Fill the Truck Community day event!
It went hand-in-hand with World Hunger Day.
The free event was meant to bring members of the community together to donate to Keystone’s food pantry, support local families, and connect residents with resources.
“The reality is it’s a global problem, but it’s also a community problem right here, right next door to us. all our communities here so it was something we wanted to bring awareness to,” said Anit Thomas, operations director at the Keystone Opportunity Center.
Keystone Opportunity Center says they hope to make this an annual event.
