A man is facing numerous charges after Pennsylvania State Police said he slashed his Lyft driver. Saul Baxin, 31, is charged with aggravated assault and simple assault. Troopers responded to I-79 near Neville Island Sunday night just before midnight for a report of an assault. Troopers say a passenger, now identified as Baxin, slashed his Lyft driver on the side of his neck. Baxin ran from the Lyft to Coraopolis Road, where he damaged multiple vehicles as they passed by. He was hit by a vehicle driving by and hurt his leg. He was then taken into custody by police. The Lyft driver is in stable condition.
