Erie police probe crash involving police cruiser, SUV at intersection
An Erie police officer was taken to the hospital after the officer’s police cruiser collided with another vehicle at an eastside intersection May 30.
The accident was reported May 30 at about 7:15 p.m. at East Fifth and Parade streets. According to police, the officer was traveling east on East Fifth Street when the officer’s cruiser collided with a 2025 Ford Bronco that was traveling south on Parade Street.
The officer was taken to the hospital after the accident. Information on the extent of the officer’s injuries was not available May 31. The driver of the Ford Bronco was not reported injured.
