Israeli Enemy Forces Storm Raba Village Southeast of Jenin, Impede Palestinian Movements West of Bethlehem
Jenin/Bethlehem – Saba:
The Israeli enemy forces stormed Raba village, southeast of Jenin, on Tuesday morning, raiding and searching a number of Palestinian citizens’ homes and turning one of them into a military barracks.
Palestinian local sources said that several military vehicles belonging to the Israeli enemy army stormed the village, with military deployment in its streets, before raiding a number of homes, searching them, and vandalizing their contents.
The sources added that the Israeli enemy forces detained a number of Palestinian citizens and subjected them to field interrogation during the incursion, with no reports of arrests so far, according to the Palestinian news agency “Wafa”.
In the same context, Palestinian local sources reported that the enemy forces set up a military checkpoint at the entrance of Jaba’ town on the Jenin-Nablus road, impeding the movement of citizens’ vehicles and searching them thoroughly.
In Bethlehem, the Israeli enemy forces set up a military checkpoint on Tuesday at the main entrance to the western countryside of Bethlehem province, impeding citizens’ movement and causing a suffocating traffic jam.
A Palestinian local source reported that the Israeli enemy forces set up a military checkpoint in the Al-Sharafa area, known as “Al-Sholi,” at the main entrance to the towns of Beitir and Nahalin and the villages of Husan and Wadi Fukin, where they stopped citizens’ vehicles, searched them, and checked the IDs of their passengers.
The source added that the checkpoint caused a suffocating traffic jam and prevented Palestinian citizens from reaching their workplaces, educational institutions, and various destinations on time.
It is noted that the Israeli enemy forces deliberately set up military checkpoints in the “Al-Sholi” area during peak hours of Palestinian citizens’ movement in the morning and evening, leading to their detention and delay for hours, compounding their daily suffering while traveling to and from their homes.
