A children’s literature festival is returning to Hull for its ninth year.
The Big Malarkey Festival will see authors, artists, dancers, musicians and theatre companies fill East Park during its main event on 20 and 21 June.
As part of this year’s ‘It’s a Mystery’ theme, children will be able to solve puzzles, don disguises and explore some of Hull’s best mysteries.
Councillor Jackie Dad said: “It is a festival not just about reading, but about ideas, imagination, creativity and performance.”
