The Shapiro Administration released a fact sheet detailing how nearly 2 million Pennsylvanians will lose SNAP benefits starting Nov. 1 due to the ongoing government shutdown.

This includes more than 713,000 children and 697,000 older adults that could lose access to more than $366 million in monthly food assistance, according to officials. Nearly one in eight Pennsylvanians depends on SNAP, which provides critical food assistance to low-income families, seniors, and people with disabilities, the press release details.
