Israeli Enemy Sets Up Military Checkpoint West of Bethlehem, Issues Order to Seize Dozens of Dunams East of Tubas

Bethlehem/Tubas – Saba:

The Israeli enemy forces set up a military checkpoint on Wednesday at the main entrance to the western countryside of Bethlehem province in the West Bank.

The Palestinian news agency “Wafa” quoted a Palestinian local source as saying that the Israeli enemy forces erected a military checkpoint in the “Al-Sharafa” area near the Al-Sholi neighborhood, on the main road leading to the towns of Beitir and Nahalin and the villages of Husan and Wadi Fukin, causing a traffic jam and hindering citizens from reaching their workplaces and students from reaching their universities.

Wafa noted that the Israeli enemy forces closed main and secondary entrances in the village of Husan, west of Bethlehem, on Tuesday evening, namely the entrances of Al-Mutinah, Al-Mashahid, and Karum Al-Sharqa, with dirt berms and concrete blocks.

In Tubas, the Israeli enemy forces issued an order on Tuesday to seize dozens of dunams east of Tubas in the West Bank.

The head of the settlement file in Tubas province, Moataz Basharat, reported that the Israeli enemy issued a military order to seize 42 dunams of land from the village of Tayasir, east of Tubas, for “military purposes.”
