BETHLEHEM – Bethlehem Library invites children to meet on Saturday June 6 at 10:30 a.m. to write their own letters to kids of the future. In celebration of the nation’s 250th anniversary, kids can describe their daily activities, hopes for the future, and their wishes for following generations. Guidelines and stationery will be provided. Small children can dictate their letters, and those who wish can continue at home. Entries will be accepted at the library. until June 27.
Marilia Jose will present stories about letter writing and the nation’s birthday celebration.
The event was inspired and coordinated by Bonnie Grzelak’s elementary school project which celebrated Bethlehem’s bicentennial in 1987.
