Erie Zoo visitors to see heavy equipment up-close at ‘Equipment Day’
(WJET/WFXP) — If you’ve ever wanted to see heavy machinery up close, the Erie Zoo is providing the chance.
The Erie Zoo is hosting Equipment Day on Saturday, June 6, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Zoo attendees of all ages can get up close and interact with 10 pieces of heavy-duty machinery that would be seen on a construction site, farm or emergency response.
The event is included with paid admission to the zoo or free with an Erie Zoo membership. Current zoo admission is $13 for adults, $11 for seniors, $9 for children ages 2-12 and free for infants under age 2.
Parade of Sail to honor Erie’s maritime history
The first 1,000 children to attend will receive a plastic construction hat provided by Chick-fil-A Erie.
Equipment Day will take place rain or shine. More information can be found here.
