WHITEHALL TWP., Pa. – Drivers looking to keep their vehicles in tip-top shape will soon have a new, cutting-edge car wash to frequent in Lehigh County.
A new location of Sparkle Car Wash is expected to open in late 2026 in the 2600 block of MacArthur Road in Whitehall Township, according to Allie Detrick, Sparkle Car Wash’s regional manager.
The new car wash is being constructed in what was previously a parking lot in the MacArthur Commons shopping center, next to Walmart.

“When completed, this will be one of the largest and most technologically advanced car wash facilities in Northeastern Pennsylvania,” Detrick told 69 News.
“The new location will feature a dual-tunnel design, consisting of two 124-foot express wash tunnels, allowing us to provide a fast, efficient, and high-quality wash experience for our customers. The site will also include six pay station lanes and more than 60 complimentary vacuum stations available with the purchase of a tunnel wash.”
Customers can expect a wide range of wash options, including two Wash Club membership programs designed to accommodate both frequent and occasional users, “ensuring there is a package that fits every customer’s needs,” Detrick said.
Complimentary clean towels will be provided to help customers put the finishing touches on their vehicles.
“We are incredibly excited to become part of the Whitehall community and look forward to providing our customers with a convenient, high-quality car wash experience and sparkling clean vehicles,” Detrick said.
Sparkle Car Wash also has locations in Lower Nazareth Township, Stroud Township and Mount Pocono.

The company crafts its own special cleaning solutions and incorporates “equipment not found at your average car wash,” according to a message on the business’ website.
Car wash locations feature pre-soak (alkaline liquid containing surfactants that is applied first to remove organic soils and loosen dirt and debris from a car’s exterior), soap (specially formulated detergent that is designed to remove dirt, grime and other contaminants from your vehicle’s surface) and tire and wheel cleaner (cuts through road grim and brake dust to make rims and tires sparkle).
Other car wash features include wheel blasts, spot-free rinses, undercarriage and rust inhibitors, bug defense, drying agent, graphene protectant, conditioner and dryers.
High-tech wash materials are specially formulated from closed cell foam and super soft microfiber material, which provides a safe and gentle car wash experience.

Additionally, Sparkle’s unique “Smart Wrap Technology” enables the wash materials to follow the contours of your vehicle and reach those hard-to-clean areas.
“By applying the ideal amount of pressure, this process maximizes cleaning, reduces noise and vibration, and prevents potential damage to your vehicle’s surface,” reads a message on the business’ website.
