MUHLENBERG TOWNSHIP — Fans of the breakfast and lunch offerings at Wyomissing’s Café Folino now have a second option. The locally owned and family-operated café has opened a new location at 1007 Mount Laurel Road in Muhlenberg Township.
To celebrate, the café, which officially opened in March, will host a grand opening and ribbon cutting on June 8 from 9 to 11 a.m. The ribbon cutting is scheduled for 10 a.m., and is being held in partnership with the Small Business Resource Association, according to an annoucement.
Community leaders, local officials and customers are invited to attend the grand opening and tour the location. During the event, the café will serve complimentary drip coffee, cookies and pastries while supplies last.
“Opening this second location marks an exciting milestone for our family and our business,” Fabrizio Folino, owner, said in a statement. “We are incredibly grateful for the support of our community and local leadership as we continue to grow. We would be honored to have community members join us for this special occasion as we begin this new chapter in Temple.”

In a Facebook post this week, Folino said he is grateful for the community’s response to the new café so far.
“We have been open for a little over a month now and the love from this community has been incredible,” his post read.
Café Folino was founded with a commitment to serving the greater Reading area with exceptional food and warm hospitality, the café said in the release, adding that the second location reflects the business’ continued dedication to community connection and local growth.
Café Folino in Muhlenberg operates with the same menu and hours as the original Café Folino, 951 Hill Ave., Wyomissing, which opened in August 2023. Both are open for breakfast and lunch Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., and Saturday from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.; and for breakfast only on Sunday, from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Fabriazio Folino is a third-generation restaurateur. His parents, Anna and Giuseppe Folino, owned their own establishment, Mangia! Italian Restaurant & Pizzeria in Mohnton, and currently work alongside Fabriazio Folino at Café Folino. Mangia! Italian Restaurant & Pizzeria closed in March. Folino’s grandfather was also a restaurant owner.
