SPRING TWP., Pa. – Southeastern Pennsylvania is about to get a taste of the deep South. A popular franchise full of decadent desserts just opened in Spring Township, and it’s the first of its kind in the Commonwealth.
It may be a “southern thang,” but for the first time ever, the flavors of a growing franchise have found their way up here in PA.
“We’re just so excited to serve the community and can’t wait for everybody to try it,” Tulya Gafoor, owner of The Peach Cobbler Factory in Spring Township, said.
Cookies, churros and shakes — oh my!
“We have a whole bunch of varieties to choose from,” Gafoor said.
But with a name like The Peach Cobbler Factory, you just know you’re getting a dozen different varieties of cobblers alone.
“We also have banana puddings in 12 different flavors,” Gafoor said. “We have cookies. We have ice cream. We have milkshakes. We have all sorts of goodies for everyone to enjoy.”
In just more than a decade, the business itself has tasted sweet success, growing to more than 115 shops across half the country. And now for the very first time in the entire Commonwealth, it’s in Spring Township.
Last week, the shop had its soft opening
“We had a line out the door the first day,” Gafoor said.
Now comes the big day.
“We are going to have a spin the wheel,” Gafoor said. “We’re going to have prizes. We’re going to have giveaways. We have a DJ.”
