READING, Pa. — The Reading Parking Authority has announced the closure of a parking lot in the city.
Officials say that people will no longer be able to use the 5th and Cherry Lot, located at 29 South 5th Street.
It is unknown at this time why the parking lot has been closed or if it will be reopened.
Parking authority officials suggest alternative garages to park, including the 4th and Cherry Garage and South Penn Garage.
“Please plan accordingly and use these facility options for your parking needs.
Thank you for your understanding as we move forward with new development in our community,” the parking authority said in a Facebook post.
