The 2026 Arts on Fire Festival returns to Scranton Iron Furnaces in Scranton, PA on Saturday, June 6 and Sunday, June 7, 2026 for a free weekend celebrating art, heritage, industry and community. Hosted by the Pennsylvania Anthracite Heritage Museum and Iron Furnaces, the annual festival transforms the historic iron furnace site into one of NEPA’s most unique arts and culture events.
Saturday’s lineup features hands-on activities, live music, craft and artist vendors, demonstrations and the festival’s signature iron pour. Visitors can purchase scratch blocks to create custom cast-iron souvenirs during the live iron-pouring experience led by metal artist Brian Glaze, blacksmiths Cliff Prokop and David Schulte and students from Keystone College.
The returning Youth Arts Showcase highlights original artwork from local students centered around the 2026 theme, “Change.” Sunday continues with artist vendors, workshops and additional interactive activities throughout the historic grounds.
Built in the 1840s, the Scranton Iron Furnaces provide a dramatic industrial backdrop for the festival while honoring the city’s manufacturing history and immigrant heritage.
