Outdoor music is a summer staple in Erie from June through August, with concerts taking place in the woods, on the beach or in various parks.
You can find a variety of outdoor music events throughout Erie featuring local talents along with nationally known performers.
Some outdoor venues have a limited amount of seating, or require attendees to bring their own seating.

Boutique Nights
Experience the fun of art, shopping and live music in downtown Erie at Boutique Nights. All acts go on at 8 p.m. in the Flagship City District. The acts on July 10 and Sept. 4 will be announced at a later date.

Asbury Woods: Monday Music in the Woods
On Mondays from through July 27 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., Asbury Woods will host free concerts in the woods that are open to the public. Visitors are encouraged to bring their own seating.

Whitford Park Concert Series
Every Wednesday from June 10 to Aug. 19, Harborcreek Township will host a free outdoor concert series at Whitford Park at 5400 Iroquois Ave. This event is a bring your own seating event.
The schedule goes as follows:
June 17: The Mountain Thyme Ramblers.
June 24: Gem City Jazz Band.
July 1: Gem City Concert Band. This show will be held at Shades Beach at 6 p.m. as part of the Freedom Celebration.
July 22: Mike and Marie Acoustics.
Aug. 12: Kurt Novakowski as Elvis.
Aug. 19: Kokomo Time Band.
14th Fest
Presented by the EMTA, 14th Fest takes place on June 11 on East 14th Street between French and Holland streets.
Along with the family-friendly events, this free festival offers live music from Geek Army at 5:30 p.m. and Twisted Lid at 8 p.m.
Sunset Music Series at Presque Isle
The Presque Isle Partnership presents the Sunset Music Series at Beach 1. This free music series runs from June 17 to July 22 starting at 5:30 p.m. until sunset. Headliners typically go on at 7 p.m.
June 17: Headliner: Tommy Link. Opener: Flagship Steel Band.
June 24: Headliner: Ray and the Country Kid. Opener: Bummer Country.
July 1: Headliner: Tennessee Backporch. Opener: Shani Bills.
July 8: Headliner: Andrani. Opener: Midnight Frolic.
July 15: Headliner: Savage Daughter. Opener: Elle Taylor.
July 22: Headliner: Lopaka Rootz. Opener: 2 for the Show.
The Sunset Music Series at Presque Isle State Park begins on June 17 and runs each Wednesday through July 22.
Music in the Park at Lake Erie Community Park
Music in the Park is scheduled every Wednesday from June 17 to Aug. 19 from 7 p.m. to sunset at Lake Erie Community Park at 10192 West Lake Road.
Food trucks and refreshment tents are available at these free shows. The schedule goes as follows:

July 8: Logan B and Dirty Leaf.
July 22: Tiger Maple String Band.
July 29: The Breeze Band.

Summer Concerts at the Gazebo in Lawrence Park
On June 18, July 16 and Aug. 13, Lawrence Park Township will host free concerts at the Gazebo in Beute Park. All shows will go from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Attendees are encouraged to bring their own seating.
June 18: Midnight Frolic.
July 16: Denny and Heather Nemenz.
Aug. 13: The Bully Pulpits.
WQLN Sounds Around Town
The Sounds Around Town is WQLN’s series of free concerts and TV and radio broadcasts. These shows, featuring all local bands, are held at WQLN at 8425 Peach St. and are open to the public. Shows begin at 7:30 p.m. and run 60 to 90 minutes.

Music of Origins Series at Goodell Gardens and Homestead
The Music of Origin Series is a new, free community initiative from Goodell Gardens and Homestead at 221 Waterford St., in Edinboro.
This series is structured around three interconnected themes that highlight the diversity of the Edinboro community. The themes are regional roots, enduring rhythm of the blues and worldly music.
The monthly shows run from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
June 26: Matthew Crays and Pollination Celebration.
July 17: Simple Gifts and Sensory Fest.
Aug. 21: Three Way Street and Night Market.
429 State St. Alley Party
The 2026 429 State St. Alley Party takes place in the alley behind 429 State St. apartments next to Glass Growers Gallery at 10 E. Fifth St. The acts on July 17 and Aug. 14 will be announced at a later date.
All shows are free to attend.
June 26: Inspirato Trip at 8 p.m.
Aug.14: Act TBD but includes a CelebrateErie afterparty.
Lights and Liberty on the Lake
In celebration with America250PA, the city of Erie will host a live outdoor concert on July 3. In partnership with Rebich Investments and Erie Events, the city of Erie is bringing American band The Marshall Tucker Band to the Rebich Investments Amphitheater at 6:30 p.m. The Marshall Tucker band is known for its mix of blues, country, rock and jazz into an electric sound.
Tickets are on sale at Erieevents.com and range from $35 to $94 plus fees.
Erie Philharmonic free summer concert series
Celebrate summer and America’s 250th birthday with the Erie Philharmonic.
This series will feature patriotic pops, the Erie Phil Brass Ensemble and more. This series takes place across Northwest Pennsylvania in July and is free and open to the public. The schedule goes as follows:
Daniel Meyer’s Patriotic Pops
Maestro Daniel Meyer from the Erie Philharmonic will lead a program that celebrates the American tradition and innovation.
July 4 at Bayview Park. Opening act Josh Travis takes the stage at 1:30 p.m. while the Erie Philharmonic goes on at 2:30 p.m.
July 8 at Gibson Park in North East. Erie Philharmonic takes the stage at 7 p.m.
July 9 at Downtown Park in Corry: opening act Three Way Street takes the stage at 6:30 p.m. while the Erie Philharmonic goes on at 7:30 p.m.
July 10 at PennWest University in Edinboro: Erie Philharmonic takes the stage at 7:30 p.m.
July 11 at Diamond Park in Meadville: Erie Philharmonic takes the stage at 7:30 p.m.
Erie Philharmonic family concerts
These concerts will feature Prokofiev’s “Peter and the Wolf” and a stampede of other favorite themes from the animal kingdom.

July 23 at McLane Church in Edinboro at 6 p.m.
Erie Philharmonic brass ensemble
These concerts will feature classic patriotic marches and symphonic masterworks that show off brass and percussion to pops selections.

Sounds of Summer
The Sounds of Summer will feature local music at senior living communities throughout Erie. All shows are free and open to the public. All concerts begin at 7 p.m.

8 Great Tuesdays
Voted No. 1 for the 2025 Erie’s Community’s Choice Awards for best local event, 8 Great Tuesdays is a free summer concert series that will run from July 7 to Aug. 25 at the Rebich Investments Amphitheater at 828 W. Bayfront Parkway. All concerts start at 6:30 p.m.
The event will feature a variety of regional and local bands on a waterfront setting.
July 7: The Clarks with Roberta Faceplant.
July 14: Killer Queen with No Done Deal.
July 21: A1A, The Official and Original Jimmy Buffet Tribute Show with Coastal Country.
July 28: Boys in the Band: The Alabama Tribute with Tiger Maple Strings Band.
Aug. 4: Chris Higbee with SELLEENA.
Aug. 11: Songbirds: A Tribute to Fleetwood Mac with The Goats.
Aug. 18: First to Eleven with Brooke Surgener and the Bandits.

Blues and Jazz Festival
The Erie Blues and Jazz Festival will take place on Aug. 1-3. The lineup has yet to be released. These shows are free to attend and will take place at Frontier Park.

CelebrateErie 2026
CelebrateErie is the largest free music concert in the region and hosts three nights of world-class musical acts and local opening acts. The event will showcase local and regional musical acts along with national headlining acts.
CelebrateErie also has three different stages that will showcase musical and performing art from the region.
The headliners for CelebrateErie on the main stage include:
Aug. 14: Arrested Development.
Aug. 15: Plain White T’s.
Aug. 16: Al Jardine and the Pet Sounds Band.
On May 11, city officials with the Cultures, Arts, Festivals and Events of Erie announced headliners for CelebrateErie for 2026, including Arrested Development, Plain White T’s and Al Jardine and The Pet Sounds Band.
Travis Tritt
Erie Events, which runs the Rebich Investments Amphitheater at 828 W. Bayfront Parkway, announced that country music singer Travis Tritt will be playing in Erie at the amphitheater at Liberty Park on Aug. 23.
Tickets will be sold at $39.75 for general admission or at $89.75 for the Gold Circle premium seating which gets fans closer to the stage. Tickets purchased on the day of the event will have a surcharge of $5.25.
