BATH, N.Y. (WENY) — A Bath man was found guilty of rape and other charges, the Steuben County District Attorney announced Friday.
A Steuben County Grand Jury convicted Darrell Towsley, 24, on counts of Rape and Endangering the Welfare of a Child.
According to the Steuben County District Attorney’s Office, Towsley met a 16-year-old girl on Snapchat in May of 2024. He had sex with the girl and gave her marijuana.
He is set to be sentenced in January 2026. Towsley is currently being held in the Steuben County Jail.
