Brian Lee Simmons, 60, of Shillington, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, October 28, 2025, at his residence.
Born March 26, 1965, he was the son of Harriet (Metrolis) Simmons and the late Carroll John “C.J.” Simmons.
He was a 1983 graduate of Governor Mifflin Highschool. Brian worked as a control room operator at his most current employer, DS Smith. He was employed there for almost 25 years.
In Brian’s free time he loved to watch action packed and horror movies. When he wasn’t watching movies he enjoyed cruising around town in his car and cheering on his beloved Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday’s. What Brian loved doing the most was spending time with his children and grandchildren. This is what brought him true happiness. He also loved all of the dogs in his life. He enjoyed the time he had with his late dog, Tova, and his daughters’ dogs Louie and Karma, and Haven. Brian loved listening to all types of music, some being Eminem and Limp Bizkit. He was a little kid at heart and enjoyed taking his kids to Field of Screams, going on Tik Tok, eating Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups, and drinking Propel. Brian loved the beach and would look forward to his yearly family reunion trip that would later bring him to other parts of the US.
Surviving are two children, Samantha (Simmons) Forster, wife of Ben of Reading, PA, and Tessa (Simmons) Cardi, wife of James of Reading, PA.
Also surviving are two grandchildren, Parker Forster and Leo Forster. As well as several nieces and nephews.
