EASTON, Pa. — The city’s riverfront was filled with music, color and celebration Sunday as hundreds gathered for Easton Pride, an annual event that brought the community together to celebrate diversity, inclusion and LGBTQ+ pride.
Festivities began in Centre Square with a Pride flag-raising ceremony before participants marched through downtown led by the Big Easy Easton Brass Band.
The procession continued to Riverside Park Amphitheater, where the celebration took place along the Delaware River.
At the riverfront, attendees enjoyed live music, drag performances, DJs, food and drink vendors, and exhibits from community organizations.
Organizers said the event was designed to create a welcoming space focused on visibility, inclusion and community connection.
For Corinne Goodwin, executive director and founder of the Eastern Pennsylvania Trans Equity Project, the event highlighted the importance of unity and support.
“This message of belonging and of community. That you can embrace each other and care for each other. Find that chosen family,” Goodwin said.
Following the riverfront celebration, an official after-party was scheduled at the Lafayette Bar for attendees 21 and older.
