Rose M. Conti
OBITUARY
Rose M. (Pittaluga) Conti, 73, of Sinking Spring, Pennsylvania passed away peacefully at home
on Thursday May 28th, 2026, surrounded by her loving family. She was the devoted wife of
Mario A. Conti Jr., with whom she shared 52 wonderful years of marriage, beginning on October
13th, 1973.
Born in Sea Isle City, New Jersey, Rose was the daughter of the late Anthony and Lois (Lincoln)
Pittaluga. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her two brothers Peter and
David.
Left to cherish her memory are her beloved husband, her daughter Melissa L. Ortiz; her son,
Mario A. Conti III; her son-in-law Elvin Ortiz; her three granddaughters Amaya, Eliana, and
Azrielle; her two sisters, Tina and Teresa; and extended family and friends.
Rose’s greatest joy in life was her family, whom she loved with all her heart. A wonderful cook,
she expressed her love through her meals and took great pride in making sure everyone left the
table well-fed. Having grown up near the shore, she cherished the beach throughout her life and
especially enjoyed her trips to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. Rose also loved dining out,
attending live concerts, watching her favorite soap operas, cheering on the Philadelphia Eagles
and Philadelphia Phillies, and spending time tending to her garden.
Above all, Rose was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. Her kindness,
warmth, and unwavering love will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Though our hearts are
heavy with loss, we take comfort in the countless memories she leaves behind. Rose will forever
remain in our hearts. May she rest in peace.
Services will be held at 11:00 AM, Friday, June 12th, at Lamm & Witman Funeral Home, 243 W.
Penn Ave., Wernersville. Visitation with the family will be held from 10-11:00 AM, Friday, at
the funeral home. Burial will be in Hain’s Church Cemetery. Online condolences may be made
