COLUMBIA, S.C. (WIS) – The City of Columbia announced that its proposed budget for the 2026-27 fiscal year has passed the first reading.
The proposed budget has no property tax increase but does have a 5% increase in water and sewer rates. The estimated monthly impact for a typical residential customer is about $3.92 a month.
The budget passed its first reading unanimously.
The second reading and final budget adoption are on June 16.
