A family-friendly festival is returning for the fifth year in a row.

Erie Metropolitan Transit Authority will host its annual 14th Fest on Thursday, June 11 from 5 to 10 p.m. along 14th Street.

Sarah Morrison, director of marketing and public relations for EMTA, explained how the event celebrates the Erie community.

“This is a really special event for us, we host it every year,” Morrison said. “It’s just a really fun way for EMTA to give back to the community, open up summer in downtown with our friends at the Downtown Partnership, and really just kick off things.”

The event will feature live music, food trucks and activities as well as a ceremony at 5 p.m. recognizing the 60th year of EMTA in Erie.
