MOOSIC, Pa. – The Lehigh Valley IronPigs fell to the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders on Tuesday by a score of 5-2.
It was scoreless through the first third of the game, but Jasson Dominguez gave the RailRiders the lead with a two-run home run. Kennedy Corona, George Lombard Jr., and Jonathan Ornelas drove in three more runs before the IronPigs would make a dent.
It would not come until the seventh inning when a two-out double from Carter Kieboom drove home two for Lehigh Valley, but it would be all they could supply, losing the series opener 5-2.
