READING, Pa. – The Reading Fightin Phils celebrated the “show about nothing” in Baseballtown Wednesday night.

It was “Seinfeld” tribute night. Special guest John O’Hurley was in town. He played J. Peterman on the iconic television series.

Fans could meet O’Hurley and even get a free autograph.

Special ticket holders also got an exclusive George Costanza “puffy jacket’ bobblehead.

O’Hurley said he understands why the show still connects with people today.

“It’s fascinating to see how ‘Seinfeld’ has become part of American culture, and I think it will remain that way for a decade or two more in the same way that ‘The Honeymooner’ and ‘MASH’ and those shows retained their specialness,” O’Hurley said.

Wednesday was also “Bring Your Dog to the Game Night.”
