In the hopes of tracking down the suspected gunman who, police believe, shot and killed a man in an incident that happened on April 6, 2026, at a store along Market Street in Philadelphia University City community in West Philadelphia and fled the scene on an electric scooter.
On Thursday, the U.S. Marshals Service Eastern Pennsylvania Violent Crime Fugitive Task Force released images of Dameon Anderson, 44, who is sought for his suspected involvement in the death of 26-year-old Savion Pollard-Poulson.
According to police, Anderson has been charged with murder and related offenses after he is believed to have shot and killed Pollard-Poulson following a verbal altercation that happened at Market Grocery, located along the 4000 block of Market Street, on April 6, 2026.
Following the slaying, officials said, Anderson was spotted riding a motorized electric scooter in the area of 4100 Aspen Street as he fled the scene.
Police described Anderson as standing 5 feet, 11 inches tall, and weighing approximately 170 pounds.
He also by the alias “Dame,” according to police.
Officials said Anderson has black hair, brown eyes, and a tattoo on his right forearm and he is known to frequent the 40th and Market Street area.
Most recently, officials said, Anderson has been spotted in Atlantic City, New Jersey.
The U.S. Marshals Service is offering a $1,500 reward for information leading to Anderson’s arrest. The reward, officials said, will be processed immediately upon arrest and not upon conviction.
