MOSSIC, Pa. (KTRE) — Former Central Heights Blue Devil Duke Ellis hit his third home run of the season in Scranton/Wilkes-Barre’s 8-5 loss to Lehigh Valley on Wednesday.
Batting eighth and starting in center field, the 28-year-old hit a solo home run with two outs in the fourth inning.
Through 107 at-bats, Ellis has 10 RBIs and a .243 batting average.
Scranton/Wilkes-Barre (32-32) is in sixth place in its division. The RailRiders continue the series against Lehigh Valley on Thursday at 6:05 p.m.
