PHILADELPHIA, Miss. (WTOK) – The Philadelphia Police Department arrested seven people Thursday following a year-long narcotics investigation conducted with the Mississippi Bureau of Narcotics and the Neshoba County Sheriff’s Department.
Additional suspects are wanted for the sale of illegal narcotics, according to police.
Those arrested include Jonathan Goodin, charged with sale of a controlled substance; Matthew Cain, charged with possession of a controlled substance; JL Hayes, charged with sale of a controlled substance; Timothy Lewis, charged with sale of a controlled substance; Shanna Renfro, charged with sale of a controlled substance; Daniel Puckett, charged with conspiracy to distribute narcotics and money laundering; and Natasha Sanders, charged with possession of a controlled substance.
More arrests are expected, police said.
The Philadelphia Police Department said it remains committed to combating the illegal drug trade and enhancing community safety. The department thanked supporting agencies for their assistance with the investigation.
